Frequently Asked Questions
-
How should the Ayara filter sit in the water?
As long as the bottom of the filter sits in the water, the filtration process functions correctly. The top may be above or below the waterline.
-
How do I clean the Ayara filter and pod housing?
Run hot tap water through the filter body. For deeper cleaning, use a soft, non-abrasive dish soap.
-
When should I replace the carbon pod?
Most users replace the pod after 21–60 uses. If you taste woody or smoky notes, the carbon has reached saturation and needs replacement.
-
What water level works best with Ayara filters?
Fill your base so the bottom of the diffuser sits about 1 cm underwater. Higher water increases draw resistance.
-
Which size replacement pods do I need for my Kaloud Krysalis system?
- Krysalis® 1.0: Short (Large) Ayara Pods
- Krysalis® 2.0: Tall (Small) Ayara Pods
-
Do I need an Ayara Filter Adapter for my Krysalis system?
No. The Krysalis® already includes a built-in Ayara filtration system. You only need the replacement filter pods in the correct size.
