• How many valves come in a pack?

  Six silicone valves per pack, made for the Krysalis down stem and purge valve. Silicone valves only; metal rims are not included.

• Where do these valves go?

  They fit the down stem and the purge valve of your Kaloud Krysalis hookah, keeping it sealing and purging perfectly.

• Why umbrella valves instead of ball bearings?

  Adapted by our engineers from medical-device technology, these one-way umbrella valves do not rely on gravity like traditional ball bearings. They seal reliably in multiple orientations for a cleaner, more consistent pull.

• Do the valves affect flavor or filtration?

  No. Smoke quality and filtration are handled by the geometry of your Lotus HMD and the Ayara carbon filter. The valves simply keep the seal and purge working as designed.

• Is it normal for the valves to discolor over time?

  Yes. Made from clear silicone, the valves may naturally discolor or warp slightly with use. This is normal and does not affect performance.

• When should I replace a valve?

  Replace a valve when the seal weakens, the purge feels inconsistent, or the valve is visibly damaged. With six per pack, you always have spares on hand.
