Read storyFrequently Asked Questions
-
How should the Ayara filter sit in the water?
As long as the bottom of the filter sits in the water, the filter works as designed. The top may be above or below the waterline.
-
How do I clean the Ayara filter and pod housing?
Rinse the pod with warm water. Clean the housing with hot tap water, or a mild dish soap for a deeper clean.
-
When should I replace the carbon pod?
After about 21 sessions. If you taste woody or smoky notes, the carbon is spent and the pod needs replacing.
-
What water level works best with Ayara filters?
Fill your base so the bottom of the diffuser sits about 1 cm under water. Higher water raises draw resistance.
-
Which size replacement pods do I need for my Kaloud Krysalis system?
- Krysalis® 1.0: Short (Large) Ayara pods
- Krysalis® 2.0: Tall (Small) Ayara pods
-
Do I need an Ayara Filter Adapter for my Krysalis system?
No. Krysalis® systems have the Ayara housing built in. You only need replacement pods in the right size.
